Ducks in a line is a collection of silver rings inspired by order and chaos 
I was inspired by the media at the time of this project, my relation to chaos was everything surrounding America in that moment. There had just been another school shooting and Trumps response to the tragedy was to arm teachers with guns to prevent further school shootings. I found it a devastating but comical response to stop weapons with weapons.

Using order as contrast I was inspired by a saying I remembered from childhood “get your ducks in a row” 
by definition - “to ensure all of the small details or elements are accounted for and in their proper positions before embarking on a new project”
