EDUCATION

Design For Planet MA// Designskolen Kolding, 2020-

December 2022

A process-oriented design education with a focus on circular systems, material development, and solving problems through speculative design futures. Examples of courses:

The project involved designing for material experiences,  facilitating and analysing material user studies, and recording material experiment findings.  The results of the project can be seen in a bag designed to be upcycled using its own waste at the end of its life cycle.

Competencies: Teamwork/ Design thinking/ Communication/

A group project where through referencing knowledge, actions, objects, and societies from the past, we found inspiration in developing new solutions that fit into new circular product systems. The results were a bag collection designed using sustainable design strategies that aid in creating a longer lasting product. My main roles in this project were generating 3d patterns and prototypes in Clo3D before prototyping the final bag design.

Competencies:  Attention to detail/ Focused/ Decision maker/

Challenging our notion of the future through imaginative prototyping and speculative design. This project incorporate field research , material experiments, a communicative process book and Interactive design probes involving outside participants.

Material experiments to find out possible alternatives to current packaging.
Form, shape and material experiments. 3D modelling, Material Tinkering , User journeys

A group project in collaboration with Trademark Textile. The project consisted of developing open workshops for participants to design their dream bags. By providing them with tools and inspiration we were able to have  discussions about sustainability, understanding of production and their buying habits in relation to bags. The resulting information aided our process in designing a bag collection that would work for both the company and their clients.
